If caring about the whole planet is difficult to wrap your head around, you should live greener so that your own space is cleaner. We breathe dirty air, garbage is everywhere, the ground is poisoned and so it our water. Just because all this is killing us slowly instead of quickly is no reason to ignore it. Forget global warming and all that, just live better and take better care of your piece of the world because that is the right thing to do and living in filth is nasty when you could do something about it..
